The CRCST  practice exam  is developed primarily from seven knowledge domains.

If you are looking for a practice test platform to help you pass the CRCST certification exam on your first attempt, offers you the best chance.

You do have the option of testing before completing your hours. However, the 400 hours hands-on experience must be completed within 6 months of passing your exam. If you choose to test before the completion of your hours you will be granted Provisional Certification upon passing

The exam is comprised of 150 multiple choice questions and that must be completed in 3 hours with a 70 grade average

The two main certifying organizations for sterile processing technician are the IAHCSMM and the CBSPD. Both require you to pass an exam.

CSPDT certification is offered through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).

CRCST certification is offered through the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM)

In order to take this exam you are required to complete a sterile processing technician training program or have at least 12 months experience as a full time sterile processing tech or 6 months experience in a related allied health as well as performing sterile processing or 12 months in a healthcare product sales or service related to sterile processing.
